Sunday Workday at Deer Grove WEST

We have added a second weekend workday.
Besides the Saturday morning workday at Deer Grove EAST, we will be having a second Garlic Mustard workday on Sunday afternoon in Deer Grove WEST.

Sunday (05/05) - noon to 3 pm @ Deer Grove WEST
Meet at Camp Alphonse (if the lot is full, park across Dundee on N. Palos Ave)

Saturday Morning Workday at Deer Grove EAST

Saturday's forecast is shaping up to be a perfect morning for Garlic Mustard annihilation!

We will be welcoming a group of brand new volunteers who have signed up to see what we are all about...and I am sure they will be asking the same question we all ask ourselves when the day is over..."Why on earth do they call this a WORK day when it is SO much fun?!"

Saturday (05/04) - 9 am to 11 am @ Deer Grove EAST
Meet at the far west end of the parking lot. Entrance is on Dundee between Hicks and Smith.

Our priorities are shifting. We will be hunting down and removing invasive Garlic Mustard, but we will also be ooo-ing and ahh-ing over the emerging spring flowers.

The weather forecast looks a bit iffy, so CHECK BACK HERE: We will post any updates due to weather or other unforeseen reasons at least an hour before the workday.
